What does your service provide?

• We provide an all-in-one proofreading service that checks spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• We also perform editing to provide suggestions on how to improve sentence structure, the flow of information, and vocabulary.

How does the process work?

1. Send us your document to be proofread (can be Microsoft Word or Google Docs format).
2. We will examine it and provide a quotation.
3. If you accept our proposed rate we will provide payment information and request a 50% deposit.
4. Once the job is complete we will return the proofread document to you after receiving full payment.
5. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the proofreading and editing you can get in touch with us within two days.

What type of documents do you accept?

• We generally work with academic manuscripts and thesis chapters, but we will also accept any research-related documents such as questionnaires, patient information sheets, research proposals, progress reports, and even non-academic documents too!

Do I need to make any preparations before sending my document to you?

• You can send your document to us as it is. We will change all documents to a standardised format (Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced, normal margins), remove all images, graphs, figures, tables, and references. The page count in this format will be used for quotation purposes, but the original document you sent to us will be proofread and edited.
• We strongly advise you to discuss with us any requirements and expectations you may have, such as language preferences (US vs UK spelling), word limits for abstracts, or if you require a receipt of payment.

How much do you charge?

Our rates start at RM10/page but will be increased if necessary according to several factors:

• Degree of difficulty - The current level of comprehension, accuracy of sentence structures, and general grammar of the original document will determine how much proofreading/editing needs to be done.
• Expected completion date - The rate will be determined accordingly based on the number of pages in the document and the urgency with which you require the proofreading and editing to be done.

What can I expect after you have proofread and edited my document?

• We will provide you with two copies of the proofread document:
  • A clean version with all our edits and corrections accepted.
  • A tracked version with all our edits and corrections tracked for your reference.
